smooth and clean...nothin real fancy, a change though, which is nice. sounds?
i dont see anything on this site that makes it deserve a cool site thread... nothing...
btw, a bgcolor= would have made the entering page all white on all computers...
Hey guys... Just to add a little comment on this one.
Please try to keep in mind when evaluating the Turi Site that it is really about the branding of a new Premium Vodka product. Competitive to Belvedere, Chopin, Grey Goose, Voxx, Kettle One, etc.
While, we would have loved to get a whole lot more funky, more along the lines of the Absolut Vodka campaign... That just isn't the market this product is being positioned against.
Nice, clean, and straightforward.. The atmosphere felt just like a liquor store :) The only thing that seemed a tiny bit out of place was the animation on the top buttons.. Good job on this site.
I normally like the 2A works cause it always look very professional but I have to say the this site is very poor.
Poor it terms of colors, graphics, navigation....etc.
Common guys you could do much better !!!!
novak i understand what your saying.....NJprod...read again what he wrote, thats why its not like their usual.
Yep I got the idea now!!!!
Clean and functional. I like it but I have to agree with KnownStranger about the background color. Since changing my settings, I have noticed a lot of sites that are like that.
One thing that sucks with being such a popular Design Studio is that if Joe Schmoe Studios did this site i think alot more people would have consiered it pretty cool...but since 2A did it they have come to expect a certain "thing"....it really isnt fair but I guess it comes with the territory
I just wish i could make something like this....regardless if 2A did it or not
I like it , it is very calm ... neat ... not to 2A , but still classy ...
Still ... I don't know what you guys are *****ing about ;-) ...
Look , I've read the other post about 2A . And everytime I read "Blue again" or "when will 2A use another technics other than the usual 2A look".
Well ... I think this site is a perfect example.
Here you have a site without the fast motion, flickering eyecandy. De colours are NOT blue and still some people keep on *****in....
Once again ... I think the site nice , functional and clean.

well, if it suits your client needs, you achieved your goal, wich is the most important in my opinion ;)Quote:

but... even if you did a great job for your client (unless they dont like it ?), thats in no way a 'cool site'... unless the reason its a so cool site is because it was made by 2A studio...
bad site ? nah, not at all... COOL site ? nah, neither...

oh ! oakleyrose... you so true when you say it comes with territory that if it were a site from Joe Schmoe studio you would'nt have take the time to share the link with us... an old buck' on it... ;)...
Nice
Like the menu its clean cut and very friendly
Not a big deal but don't you think you should disable the button animation after the button has been select and gone red?
I think the top is just alittle too bland. I mean, If I'd been drinking that vodka, I'd wanna go to the website and see some animation that I could stare at for 3 hours :P
why does it send u to http://www.google.ca after u click no lol
Aaah, it's sweet. Just lacks a detailed indication of loading. My netspeed went slow and I've been staring at the loading symbol for a bunch of minutes (and I haven't been drinking vodka :D).
After a couple of bottles of that stuff, maybe I'd think it was a good site.
Funny, we either get "it's like all the others" or "it's too plain".
Guys, it's plain (read: corporate), simple, does the job, and the client obviously approved - and it sticks to accepted web standards! So it apparantly does what the client paid for - what more do you want?
(and I must advise 2A to let Tony do all their public speaking/writing for them - he's a little more accepting and less condescending of other's comments than others from the company)
perfect for the client, not so perfect for the flash community.
also when you look at what happened to 2a's lasikplus site, it was just too fancy and in the end the client ditched it for a simpler site.
man if it made them some cash and the client was happy with it then they got the job done, period.
honestly, i'm really happy for those guys and the fact that they are bulding such a great company. no need to bash 'em or be jealous.
