pre-loading XML? help needed ...

Hi,

I have built a simple XML based menu - the first frame contains a preloader, the second includes the actionscript files and the third loads the XML.
This all works fine when previewed offline, however when I post it onto a server and view it online, there is a substantial delay between the movie loading and the XML menu appearing (it usually pops on several seconds later).
Is there a way to pre-load the XML so when movie loads it is loading this information too?
