When I was in HS I worked for a small insurance agency in the mail room, and had to run contracts / packages all over lower Manhattan. I was in the elevator in WTC 1 one time with a bunch of japanese business people when the elevator stopped for a few minutes, which was pretty normal when it was windy out. (The building used to sway a bit, and the elevator could knock around in the shaft.) I sat down and started reading while they freaked the hell out. It was pretty funny watching them try to leave like nothing had happened, meanwhile their collars were drenched with sweat.
i dont like when people waiting to get on the elevator surround the door waiting for it to open. leave room for people to get off at least damn.
