Quick! Look over there!
* punch! *
that was well covered here a few days ago. A quick search would have yielded this thread quite easily.
Anyway, he plans on spending more time in the Gates Foundation, you know... being a philanthropist and what not.
your old was old.
it took you 9 hours to figure that out?Quote:

I wonder what he'd spend it on? Frankly, I don't call spending money work, I (and probably most of us here) could blow it in a few months, weeks, maybe staggeringly enough, in days.
What would you do if you had Bill Gates' kind of money?
I'd take over the world with drone robots controlled by people that think they are playing a video game.
Probably what the government was afraid of... :)
They might've asked Bill Gates to step down from his position, cause in theory (or scaringly enough in reality), he actually does have enough money to do almost that...
One room full of people, controlling a nearly unlimited supply of cheap disposable drones could do it.
Bill has the kind of money needed to do something like that.
He's got 29 Billion set aside to help people all over the world. Polio and Small Pox was eradicated from the world with money and a commitment to do it. They want to go after Malaria next. Not a bad idea if the planet keeps getting warmer, cause Malaria will spread further North.Quote:

Thing is, Bill isn't giving it away to crooked charity organizations. He's giving it away by building his own organization to do it. We're going to see some big changes in the whole concept of charity and the way they are run from here on out.
I wonder if he'll have enough left to clean up the government next? :D
I don't think $29 billion would be enoughQuote:

Well, look at it this way. Bill HAS 29 billion already. Like cash. If he eventually sells what he ownes in MS, I think, if he couldn't clean up the government, he could buy it. :D
...And then, as random25 says, he'd rule the world with androids and drones.... :D
Or clean it up nice and good and give everyone a bit o' the money... or am I dreaming on that one? :D
He wouldn't have to rule with a single drone or android. We'd make him king if he was able to clean up this mess. LOL
In an interview I saw with him earlier this summer he said he has no intentions of running for president. Then again, that doesnt mean he has no intentions of taking over the world still ;)
if he ran for president i would probably vote for him.
In a heartbeat.
In fact, I'd vote for anyone he endorsed.
