Can you be a bit more specific about what you want ?
Usually you set the look of the scrollbar using the gui :confused:
No, I'm talking about creating a scrollbar with ActionScript.
I used to know how to create a contentpane and attach a scrollbar to it with action script alone. I thought I had it in my files but I can't find it.
A contentpane has a scrollbar by default.
Do you mean a dynamic textfield with a scrollbar ?
Yes, I know. What I'm talking about is changing the look of the scrollbar.
It's thickness, it's buttons and so forth. Not just it's colors as you can do with the UI.
I used to be able to do this. In fact, Necromancer uses custom scrollbar a lot. That's what I can't remember how to do.
Remus (Necromanthus) does not use the KoolMoves components; he uses his own code. The contentpane is not skinnable. You can change the color and bevel through actionscript but that's all. :confused:
You can see an example of what I've been talking about by going to Koolexchange and CodeSnippet > Data MergeQuote:

That's the API scrollbar you are talking about.
When you create a slider, you can specify thin:true to create a thinner version.
example :Code:attachMovie('KC8_Slider','slider',1,{_x:20, _y:20, length:100, c:[0xbfbfdf,0xefefff,0xefefff,0x6f6f9f], thin:true});
