Thank for the reply I am a junior member I want to know the best way to create a shadow image of a man or woman from neck up to the top of the head that will represent the user of my site. I wanted to be similar to the default avatar image of a boy or girl in chess master 10 game.
By the way a drug user can be a computer user but still a fun joke.
I have Adobe Photoshop CS3 on my computer but I only know a few tricks.
Within photoshop/illustrator I should trace using the pen, making some vector shapes over a photo.

Is the shadow cast behind an image of a head? If so you can duplicate that layer, lock the transparency and fill it with black (and blur/opacity till it looks just right)
