I just upgraded my chip to a AMD 1.1 Gig. I am using Crutial 128 ram at 133. I notice that performance with flash is alittle slower then when I have my P3 450. Anyone else have a AMD chip that works weird....Joe

I just upgraded to a 700 Duron and my brother to a Thunderbird 1gig and I have not seen an drop in performance using Flash on either machine. It could be your memory chip, I went through 4 different types of PC133 memory in the Thunderbird util I got one that was compatible. My Duron system uses PC100 memory without a single problem. Try your memory, get it tested or call the company that sold it to you and ask if it is 100% tested and compatible with the 'new' Athlon processors.Quote:
