I went through the steps for you:


1. new movie

2. Insert a second layer first of all (layer2), then
make a new symbol (movie clip)+ edit this movie clip

Using <Generate Movie Report> in Publish Settings,
might help you analyse the 'dynamics' of your movie stream.
