Even on a cable connect...The site did take a long time to load and I expected a great deal more than the 'pink' menu after the short animation. In My Humble Opinion...The pink menu should really be...

Even on a cable connect, the load time is very long. Perhaps a percentage preloader will at least allow potential visitors to get an idea of how long their wait will be.
Just my $ .02 ;)

Hi massfrequency, :)
I agree that the page is prety small. Even 800 X 600, it is still small. And you may be able to 'fix' the text by using Pixel Fonts and following the rules for the pixel...

Very nice / clean site. I like the 'W' animation... Very nice indeed. ;)

No problem, :) Sometimes it is the little things that drive us nuts! :) Glad to be of help. ;)

Hi trybenut, :)
I see the problem now. Look at the 'place' command in the main timeline. In there (after you open it up with a double click) you will see a 'jump to' for the x and y coords. ...

Hi trybenut, :)
I am not sure which sprite you want to move, I was able to move them all. If you are referring to the pictures, they move via the x-y coords in the 'mover' sprite. When you hover...

Hi again,
Perhaps you could post yoru SWI for myself or someone to take a look at to see what could be the problem. :)

Hi RHONLINE, :)
Regarding loading movies (external SWFs)... If you have a scroller, it seems they do not function inside a sprite when you load them as an external movie, so... One 'work-around'...

Hi trybenut,
Regarding compression, I usually compress at 80% then give 70% a shot. Sometimes the graphic gets too pixelated at the lower quality settings, so it really depends on the initial...

Hi,
Rule of thumb is that a 1mb file on a dial up connect 'in the real world' will take almost 4 minutes to load. 2.2mb on a cable connect approximately, 30-50 seconds depending on server speed,...

Hi Jon Lucas,
When you put a stop in your timeline, you stop anything else from happening beyond that point. You will need to put in a way to go beyond that point, either to another scene, movie,...

Hi batman0304,
I am not sure what you mean by the defining box. However, if it is the box that 'pops up'. Then I think I understand. If that is the case, you need to copy a sprite with the box...
-
Hi RougeQC21,
I looked at your code and your backgrounds are set correctly. The only thing that I can possibly see is the color of the background of the graphic you used .... What color is that?...
-
Hi mbertrand,
I believe the example that rhellstrom sited was first created in Bryce and then a 'copy' moved slightly off center and a grouped circle object as a mask grows from a point, outward....
-
Hi Buzz22,
Well, as far as a frame or border around your movie... It really depends on what you are building and what kind of 'look' you are going for. You can draw in a simple frame in your...

Hi suprme32,
I have figured out how to fix the problem. Convert your sprites that you are using for navigation to BUTTONS. From there you will see that the 'goto frame 1' has changed to frame 1...
-
Hi suprme32,
I looked at your SWI file and all your buttons that have actions on them when click.... Are pointing to your movie either frame 1 or frame 12. They are pointing to your main movie. ...
-
Hi Buzz22,
The best way to do this is to pick a color for your background that you are not using on your graphic. Then in Swish, after you import the graphic. Select the image and then select...

Hi Arthur,
:) CW = ClockWise ......... CCW = Counter-ClockWise :)
-
Hi Arthur,
This will take a little 'doing'. Actually, it is usually easier to lay down the path and the rotation BEFORE converting the object to a sprite. To do that:
Select the object, add...

Hi Neverdie,
If your file is named .SBK... Then you can rename it to SWI and you should be able to recover your work from the point that file was made. :)

Hi Isabella_Rain,
This is the code from your movie object on your site.
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"

Hi Arthur,
You can select your image. Then in the top menu, select modify, and convert to sprite. Now your image is inside a sprite. :)

Hi mike_hunty,
I am not sure if I understand you correctly or not. Are you trying to create a 'field' where the visitor will type in a URL and it will go there? If so, I believe it would be...
