I have programmed my application in flash CS6/AS3 and published as .SDK file using AIR (3.7). So will my AIR application work on android 4.2 eventhough it contains swf file?

The swf is embedded inside html page that is loaded from an external link.
Please refer to the stackoverflow link I posted above. I am facing the same issue as described in that link

I am not using transparency in my htmlLoader.
Have also tried both wmode - transparent and opaque

I dont think it will work out, since I am using htmlLoader.load() instead of htmlLoader.loadString()

why do you want to load the same variables again and again from the same text file? Instead why cant you load all the variables once, and later access these variables with your timer calls?
