Lys12(I think) had provided some great custom cursors and a tutorial a few weeks ago
  5. I'm rusty but I'll try...

    1) Insert new symbol

    2) Double click on first frame of new symbol, under actions tab click on plus sign, click on load movie and put URL
of your .swf. You should be able to leave the other things...

    I am assuming...

that if the .txt file is in the same directory it should pull it in to the loaded .swf. Please let us know because most of us would use this the same way you are, thanx.

Publish, did you do the work...

Ripping others work and posting it is not right. When you post your own let us know.
  8. Ya gotta Load movie...

As far as I know you can't import Flash 4 Fx, only F3, you have to do a "load movie" to call your new SWfX movie

    click on the footer
  15. OK

I looked at it, I deleted the load movie action in frame1, did an INSERT--- sprite---called the load movie action from there and it seems to work, the space.swf shows

    (can't send files from here)
  16. Sounds like...hmmmm

"I tried loading it in a sprite, but that just replaced the first movie...no good."

Don't know how that happened, that should work...are you sure you loaded into the sprite

    Second method......
  17. well...

You can load it in a sprite and position it where you want or make the movie you are loading the same size as the MAIN movie and position it there. There may be another way, I'm not aware of yet???
  18. Load movie...

You need to load the movie into a level greater than zero, zero is the MAIN level. Anything loaded in the same level will displace the previous. Keep this in mind when you want a new movie to replace...

    Load movie

Not frame 1, Level 1 or above. Level 0 is the level that your main movie is on, if you load in level 0 it will overwrite/knock out your main movie so you want level 1 or above. Loading movies really...
