Try making a backup of that folder, uninstall firefox, then reinstall it, and move the backup into profiles folder.
Also, are you sure your in the right folder? It should be somewhare around...

Try going into yor profile folder and copying everything from your old one to the new one.

What version of Flash are you using? Your probably running an older version of Flash (before 2004), but have the Flash player 7 plugin, which is around 10x faster.

It's not exactly an online project. The company I'm working for makes Tivos, which will have a Flash front end. But I will definatley use this knowledge for other projects. :)
