hmm..i don't know about that...I guess if you don't want to create a new movie clip. But i think that you will have issues with layers and what not if you just put a 'blank button' in your movie...

i'm not too good with music and I don't do very much in Flash with it...but I just tried it out and it seems that you can only edit .wav files in Flash.
