I want an alert to pop up in my movie, but I cant figure out how to use javascript inside actionscript.

I cant insert the code:

yeah this is a very simple question. you cant make movie clips goto _______. you need to make the frame link to their or make that movie clip into a button and put the movie clip inside the button.

does anyone know how to make a pop up window for a site using a scripting language, or flash and dreamweaver

You were right it was because I had a button in a movie clip. I new that you couldnt but buttons in buttons, but i didnt know you couldnt put them in movie clips.
