    Actionscript for Flash MX The Definitive Guide is a great book except I think it is dated - Action Script went through major changes in FLASH MX2004 that I don't think are covered in the 2001...

    I think Flash will never go away; it's just too popular.

    On the other hand. Freehand and Fireworks are taost.
