i agree, geovid products are worth of money they cost.
and also i can say that flash itself can't convert flash to video as good as special tools. and what is more there often may be problems with...

video to flash converter may help. but as i know you also need to install a special codec - quicktime alternative

i didn't use it myself, but my family (they live in another city) did. i asked and they told they use windows media encoder 9. try google for it... i can see and hear them right in a windows media...

i guess you should convert your avi to swf at first
