I was wondering what was the best way to make a moveable ship fire lasers? When I use duplicate clip, should I make all the collision logic in the clip itself, or in the parent movie?

I try tweening it, putting it in a movie clip, but when I rotate it, or do anything besides just moving the clip, it disappears on me. Help?
