What are the editors for cgi-scripts? I click on the pre written scripts and my conputer doesn't know what program to open it in. Do I have to download an editor?

I am using IE 4. I can veiw the preveiw in the tutorial though. What do you have to do after you unzip it?

Has anyone successfully used the browser shake? I placed the Javascript in the HTML file and it doesn't work. I am getting script errors. Please help.

Does anyone know how to modify cgi scripts. Do I need Perl to do this. Is Perl shareware or do I have to buy it.
