Very nice shot indeed. I think you need to update your signature on there though. Im guessing it is a new shot since one like this probably doesn't get kept to ones self for very long, but it still...

i just rolled over my d70, so 10 000. My friend ruined the 10 000th though. Saw i was coming close and snapped two or three out of focus shots of the coffee table leg as we struggled for the camera.

I think there is some confusion on the lens mount. I'm pretty sure the d80 will take all of the same lenses that the d200 does. D-AF, DX, VR, and G lenses are all f-mount lenses i believe. The only...

I agree yours is the best of the three. I personally like the 3rd place entry better than the 2nd though. Congratulations.

I can't really argue with that, but i have seen other tests and discussions that come to different conclusions.
This is one test http://www.pbase.com/miljenko/50mm_vs_50mm
This is one of the...

I don't know what your motivations are for the 50mm, but i would seriously consider the 1.8 as well. Many say it is a bit sharper than the 1.4 and has less, and better looking flare. My personal...

the 50 1.8 is supposed to be amazing. I'm looking at picking one up in the next little while. It is said to be sharper than the 1.4, and its a good deal cheaper. Definitely fits in your price range.

I've got one. Its pretty good. Depends of course what you are going to want to do with it. A friend of mine just sold his. He said he didn't use it much. He has a sigma 10-20 and a 80-200 2.8. He is...

one thing with the 10-20 is you have to be careful about taking pictures of people. I have had some very fat looking people in some of my shots because it does weird things with distortion and...

I've got a sigma 10-20 as well. Had my eye on it for awhile because two of my friends had it and both loved it, and then it came on sale. I got a free tripod, and a free backpack with it for the same...

That is of course unless you are using a flash for your shots. The flash has its own colour of light so if you start using a flash that changes what the white balance should be.

This is my attempt from the other day.

With raw just remember most of the adjustments it allows you to do the camera does by itself when it puts together a jpg. I would rather have control over how i does things then let it do it however...

Before you go out and buy the 70-300 take note that they are soon going to be releasing (if they haven't already) a 70-300 VR. Looks like it should be practically the same lens but with the vibration...
-
if i remember correctly it has the same flash posibilities as the d200.

Something like this . We sell them at work.

i have heard that white foam board works really well as a awhile backdrop if you are looking to set something up like that.
-
i did it last night with xp, so it works. there is just a small pixel in the top corner of your screen that will change color when you are over a bomb. I had some trouble getting it, but it does work.

clone brush in photoshop works really well. Then you can put only the parts of each image you want. Just make sure you start a new layer for each image, so you can move them around independantly.

i've had both of mine longer then that and they are still trucking. I don't believe.

DVD+R Or DVD-R
