I wish we'd get back to the business of sharing information rather than online bickering. If you find the support offered here doesn't meet your standards go somewhere else already.

Pc users are a majority in this forum but the Mac still is a standard in the design industry and its importance should not be underestimated. Macintosh users have to deal with issues unique to that...

Why didn't you call the absolute url? (http://, etc....) Are you sending POST? Window set as _self or _blank?

Do you want to email me the file? I'll be glad to check it out for you. I don't know what else it could be w/o looking at it.

i just noticed that your ID inside the brackets doesn't have quotation marks. Did you enter that by hand in the expert mode? that name needds to be within quotation marks.

either id happens to be the last frame in your movie AND you forgot to put a go to and STOP action in that button OR there is something wrong with the frame label (like you misspelled or whatever)

I've been puzzling the same problem. Thing is, Netscape will display a page if you "send page" FROM Netscape. SO, you upload your html and swf and then, with that page open in Netscape, go to file >...

If you publish the projector for the right platform (pc or mac) the receiving human doesn't have to have anything at all but the computer. Projectors run themselves.

The way I was doing this before involved calling the function from flash and declaring it by hand in the html of the calling movie. This is much more elegant. The only thing I haven't figured out is...

I am having to deal with this exact problem:

How do you pass the values of two variables to a single variable in the same timeline?
I have two variables: First_name and Last_name.
I need an onRelease action that will load the values of those...

I don't think the redirect will work that way. I think that if you don't actually set a variable "redirect" with the url you want user to be sent, it will send the user to a default window which has...

Another way to create the redirect and recipient variables is to place (outside of stage) dynamic text fields named "redirect" and "recipient" and enter the redirect url and the recipient url in...

I've labouriously crafted this damned form in the mac. It works everywhere but in netscape in a pc. Why, oh, why?¿?¿:

....ooops. the final line of that thread didn't take.
The question is, how can I enter 80 some quantities and prices without having to resort to that infernally repetitious sequence.
Any help...

I am creating price list which, when done, will have about 80 items. The way I learned to pass amounts to a calculate function (works fine for a FEW items) is as follows
subtotal =...

Do you want it cetered in the browser window or do you want the browser window to be centered in the screen? In the former, all you do is to add <div align="center"> to the html right after the body...
