Hmmmmm.... this cube looks quite a bit like the one I made way back when, and I couldn't solve the color problem in Flash 4.
How come you didn't email me with the fact that downloaded my 3d...

Hey thanks.
I appreciate that.

WAIT! I totally am having the same problem...
WHERE exactly did you find the string functions? I've been looking for them, but there's TONS of freaking stuff over there at the FIG!
A specific...

hahahaha...
It depends... it depends on what you're looking to do... (And what tools you are used to working with when modeling.)

Work in a corporate environment? HATE going to long boring corporate meetings? Then why don't you try out CORPORATE BINGO: http://www.wackedusa.com/cbingo/

Just export it as a .swf file and then import it into your flash movie... you can then break it apart and do "flash-type" stuff to it.

I wasn't saying it couldn't be done in Swift... I just made mine in Dimensions... took all of, about 30 minutes.
-
Even tho, we've switched back to the original topic - in case you're wondering, the Eagles Logo was done in Adobe Dimensions 3.0 - that's it.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled posting

Save your illustrator files as .eps (version 5.0/5.5) and everything will be fine. No, really... try it.
-
Well, you could probably simulate a zoom by having large images of the object and then displaying them small (by scaling them down IN FLASH) and scaling them up to 100% with zoom buttons...
As for...

If you used a camera and shot the pictures of your object in the circle, and you end up with something like 20 photos.
Then you just import them into a movie clip with a stop command on every...
-
Why don't you just take picutes of the object you want to have a 360 rotation of? I mean put it on a spinning tray or something... or if it's too big draw a circle around it and then move the camera...
-
I just about always save my illustrator files as .eps (version 5.0/5.5)... swift likes them.

Gotcha, Funner... and thanks... that's pretty frekaing cool, actually.

Ok, but can you use the "getBounds" command to find out the edges of the STAGE?
Hrm, probably not, now that I think about it since the stage never really changes dimensions, just the scale......

Book - hey thanks...
Votes - hahahaha... I dunno, nothing is as messed up as the US Election process. hahahahahahaha

Psh... DOD4 is already underway... (Have to do the Rubik's Cube with "REAL" Flash 3D.... too much instance naming other wise.)
-
oh... duh... man... my brain is not working quite right...
-
Only do the scaling on a key frame. If you do the scaling in the middle of the tween it will scale the whole thing...
Seems to work for me.

Yeah, the timeline in Swift is a bit, well, weird...
I've found that you need to place the red bar, that denotes which frame you are on, to the frame you want to add a key frame and then just move...
-
Wait a second... are you importing a VECTOR eps file? I know people have tried to import photoshop eps files (which, generally, are raster format) and well... that doesn't work.

AmF's right... E-Rain WILL give you your money back.
