I was hoping someone could help me out with this. I'm doing the tutorial:
Analog Clock Tutorial
It's for a website I'm doing as a final. Time is short and I need to figure this out quick. I...

Agh, Didn't work. I've added an .FLA file in my post above as a reference ^.

Ok the part I've figured out is under properties we had loop selected. I changed that to single frame, but my code doesn't work... So inside of the symbol on frame two I have labled it open. I'm...

We are doing a tutorial in Flash class that involves lip synching. My teacher says in Flash MX you could use a symbol- and in the symbol editing mode put four different mouths in four keyframes in...

Try using onion skinning. Seems like that's what you need. You can look it up in Flash's help files. Unless I'm crazy and your looking for something else. Onion skinning is in the main timeline.
-
Do you have an example? This confused me.

There might be a tutuorial on flashkit, but I know there is a load random background or movie thingy on www.kirupa.com. Might want to check that out.

Try making sure all of your text are on even variables on the stage. That way Flash won't anti-alias the text. For example if you click on your text and go to the properties panel and it's on X...

Just search the tutorials under games. There should be something there. We aren't your mom, I'm sure you can get the link yourself.

Even cooler than those two is the Sci-Fi movie set. He has it where you can move the camera around and see the new view on that monitor. That's awesome. He probably just has that stuff in movie...

Sound like you should use a movie clip. That way it will loop. I would also use Onion skinning to see where the character was on the previous frame to make animating him easier. Onion skinning is...

Just found something that might help. Go to www.flashmxpro.com under fla's go to page 3, then go to the flash mx wassereffekt. It's like a water ripple sort of thing that follows your mouse. Insead...

In addition, you could put the button in a Movie clip. Have two frames. use this code on frame one aka 'load':
on (release){
loadmovienum("my_movie.swf",1);
}
gotoandplay("unload");
then...

Flashkit rules! Check out around here and also these sites are worth your attention as well: www.kirupa.com , www.actionscript.org , and www.flashmxpro.com . Check those out too as well.

I don't know too much actionscript, but it sounds like you just want certain movie clips to play above or below eachother. Could it be possible to make the swap depths different for the movie clips...
-
Hmmm....animating that water would be very hard to do. The easy way out would be to have a low opacity version of the water and very slowly move that over the other water to give the appearance that...

do you have an .fla? A little confused. What do you mean by you can't edit it at all?
-
Hey I checked out the site, looks cool. One suggestion though: Under the Gallery and the 'Start Slideshow' button, make it have a square hitstate that goes over the whole text. It seems you have the...

I forgot the code for this, I need it so that when I press a button it will load my .swf into a movie clip- With the top left corner being the top left corner of my movie. I'm guessing its something...

Your link doesn't work... at least for me. Flashkit can't find the page I am looking for =P.
-
Try posting in the Flash MX page. There are a lot of very skilled people that browse there. I don't think this is very much for a Flash 'Newbie.' :p .
-
Go to www.cnet.com and take a look at their files there. Some of them are free others you have to pay for. I think the Flash screensaver one is one you have to pay for... There probably won't be junk...

Ok whew I finally did it. Thanks for the help oldnewbie. You seem to be the know it all when it comes to fullscreen. I swear I saw you in EVERY SINGLE fullscreen post =P.
