You cant. You can only support the files listed under the Import command under the File pull down menu. You could always take a screenshot of the excel spreadsheet.

You could place the applet in a hidden dhtml layer and then have flash activate it so it appears at a certain time. Download the dreamweaver trial and give it a try

If you want to have a 3d object in flash, you will need to buy something like Swift 3D. You can then import the swf into your Flash file. This works well with both Flash 4 and Flash 5.

No No No! You can only save Flash 4 .swf files in Flash 5. Flash 5 will modify the .fla file once you open it.

Yes, I must agree about there being a bug in Flash 5. Once I installed it my computer started spurting chocolate pudding out the disk drive. Shame on you Macromedia!
