Nice to see KoolMoves is still marching forward. ;)
Even still, Flash on any device that has hardware acceleration is faster and more efficient then silverlight and/or html5. In order for html5 to be as fast as Flash, you would need WebGL.
Couldn't agree more. Flash still has more features and is even more efficient then html5, even on a Mac.
Here's an example. I have a Macbook Air that's only a Intel 1.4g Duo 2 with 2GB of ram....
You can even upload your swf file and convert it. Pretty nice! ;)
Hopefully it will be around for another 10. Animation and web apps will always be needed. ;)
I would have to say that Bob is a unique software developer. I have only seen 2 developers that are on top of it with the frequent updates and Bob is one of them. Awesome job Bob! ;)
I just played with the bones in KM 7.5.1. For the most part, the bones work like they should except for two things.
1.) Child bones do not rotate with the parent bone that is...
Nah, it's not that hard. But first it takes knowing how bones work. The top of a bone is the center of rotation (unless the bone was drawn upside down or whatever). Control points bound to a bone...
Moho/AnimeStudio is an awesome tool but so is KoolMoves. I hope that one day the bone tool gets updated. I believe it's lack of interest is due to its lack of functioning properly. I think that and...
I believe this is crappy marketing.
I find it funny that your one and only post is to praise 3DFA and bash KoolMoves. I own both and like both. But 3DFA is dead and KoolMoves is actually pretty easy to understand, whether you code with...
Yeah, I do that from time to time. Usually when I work on a project or something, I start staying up late and it eventually gets the best of me. I need to learn to take breaks.
Yes, adding the "http://" fixed it. I can not believe I overlooked that. I have been over working my mind the last few weeks. Thanks blanius and Bob! ;)
I'm getting a weird link error on my website in the news section. I used the following...

That's pretty cool! Thanks for sharing Wilbert! ;)
Cool game! My score wasn't so high though. ;)
You'll loose a lot of quality that way. The best thing to do is...
1.) Create your graphic overlays in what ever program that you choose that can also export to 32bit png or swf. (If exporting to...
Those two apps are for creating 2D artwork. If you want 3D, use the 3D tools or scripting in 3DFA. Or download Wings3D and create 3D objects with it. Then import your model into 3DFA.
Right click on a movie clip and open it's properties. It's under "Actions". ;)
On roll-over, go to frame. Have each of your pop-ups adjusted for their own frame. Now on roll-out, go back to frame 1. ;)
EDIT: Here's a basic example of what I was explaining. But it was made in...
I would forget about switching forums and start thinking about switching to another flash editor. While 3DFA looked promising some years ago, it's development has always been behind. 3DFA was the...
I was going for the notepad look. :p
Chris: Looks interesting, can't wait for KM7. :D
That's very nice of you and fantastic work! ;)
