it might sound funny, but when you think a page can have 10= avatars on, that's 10 seconds!

2kb is nothing though, even for 56k - so i wouldn't worry about it, plus you can turn off avatars so...

i've just formatted and reinstalled win2k - got to windows update and to my surprise found the only service pack update was sp3 - sp1 and sp2 are included, so it says

and it's a HUGE 40mb...

i agree, one of the first things i change when i install an os is the autostart feature

scrap that, fixed it - downloaded flashswitch from flashswitch.com and used that to turn flash back on, now i've gotta find out how it got turned off
