This might be crazy but here is what I would like to do.

Hello dustbsh and Bret. Its been awhile since I've been around but for me (a novice still!) it was spending a bunch of time here, the language docs, studying other peoples stuff, and then I...

If using AS1 you can supply an address in the go to URL actions for the button properties.
You can also do it with AS3 but you reference the button with code in ActionScript editor...I'm too rusty...

Yes, that is one way...another way is to go to...
Control Panel/User Accounts and turn off the User Account Control.
Then you can copy , edit and save within the Script Library folder.:)

very short - more to follow.

Agreed!...when it comes to displaying animations the rules of video and film no longer apply because you have a CPU that has to handle not only the animation , but other processes as well. According...

Another option is the FlashLog Viewer (found in the Koolexchange)which was developed for Koolmoves by Wilbert out of that conversation if you are refering to my posts on the topic. Then you can use...

Thanks everyone for the kind words. The loader class helps me understand the loading of sound as well and I think I will probably write someting up on that too,
Thanks Rich for the artwork...
-
I did an AS3 mute button and in light of your project I think you could do one that that addressed multiple sound objects with AND statements inside a button OnPress function using volume control.

Very nice. I've never tried this but what about loading images and sounds as they are used in the export option? Also, I'm not sure what your image resolution is but if you can get away with less...

Submitted a mute button fun file to the exchange and found it did not work...re-submitted with the sound file. muteButton.zip. Can the original be deleted? (UPDATE: Bret took care of it)
I also...

I re-submitted as muteButton.zip Includes the sound file. Should work out of the box now. Whoever runs the exchange...can you delete my previous Mute Button fun file?
-
...and it doesn't work when I download it. I need to upload the mp3 and put it in a zipped folder structure. Can I re-submit this and have the old one replaced?
