this last AIF image looks great...but a slight "overlay" could've been applied to any arbitrary image and been just the same.

as for the text.....the line running vertically on the right side means "oh no...i can't escape". i have no idea what the rest means (just used it for effect).

interesting post, gerbick. that makes some sense. i tend to get more annoyed by specific things used in an image, as opposed to over all styles......random mopey "goth/punk" model chicks and those ...

cool image, squid. i kinda wish the girl was less "fuzzy" (and more "hard-line" like the rest of the drawing)...but it's a great image, nonetheless. very different from anything i've seen on here....

this would make a good thread in and of itself....because (coming from a non-graphic design backround) i see many things (in general, not necessarily in this...

not really my cup of tea...kinda incoherent and busy, but the distressed labels are sweet. certainly there's a lot to work with...so it should provide for a killer return. :)
