Looks like as2. Lee has a good tutorial on using the built in Tweener class. There are plenty of other tweening classes, but this is a good starting point. I would suggest using one of these...

When the user requests the high score you need to check if it has been > 7 days from the last reset. If so then you reset the scores before sending them to the user. No magic really :)
