I played a little bit of the Lego star wars. Kinda hard to classify it as a game no? More like a weird cartoon that you have to hit the play button constantly in order to watch.

I let my xbl gold account lapse for a few months and it actually hurt my desire to even turn on the console. There's just something about being connected no matter what I'm doing.

Yeah the XBL experience is killer. Be sure to turn on the option to finish downloads before powering off in the system settings. I like queuing up 3 or 4 demos and have them waiting for me next time...

Thumbs up for sure. I'd estimate 12-16 hours of gameplay which is well worth the time investment.
