Flash was killed because Steve Jobs didn't want anyone just making online apps and games with Flash because he knew it would have an effect on Apple's app sales and Apple developer registration. And...

Love it! These are the kind of things I really enjoy about Flash. ;)

Yeah, there is some issues but the good thing is, Ruffle is constantly worked on. Lets see how far they go. :D

Remember seeing things in Flash back in the day and wonder what on Earth people were creating? Apparently I was one of those people. Something I created in KoolMoves back in 2004.

Got the FlashPulse website back up. Well the flash version anyway.
Minor issues with Ruffle are...
1.) HTTP text links don't seem to work but button links do.
2.) Text is a little larger than...

I just wanted to point this out for those who do not know but you can still create and export SWF / Flash media in KoolMoves and upload it to your website. Ruffle flash player / emulator is a great...

Visual Studio doesn't have a "DPI Awareness" option/feature?
-
Do you need new icons created? How many do you think there are in total?
-
Agreed. That's a lot of work. :scared:

Sounds good Bob, no rush. But yes, with higher resolutions on the rise, it is inevitable.
If you create a small test in KoolMoves or KoolShow before doing many changes, I would be glad to check it...

Good morning Remus!
It's a Microsoft Surface Pro 7. Res is 2736 x 1824 at a DPI of 225%. It came at 200% DPI but I had to bump it a bit.

I've done them at double size. I guess one day, with 8k monitors, they may be even larger one day.

Windows on its own doesn't do a great job of controlling/scaling DPI, be it text or image. In PureBasic I have to enable DPI in the compiler options and then use...
Global DPI.f =...

I've actually been meaning to ask this for a while now. Is it possible to add High DPI to KoolShow / KoolMoves? On my laptop, it's 225% DPI and the UI (text, icons) is very small. I have to do a...

That was my exact thought. And honestly they could still remove the vulnerable or dangerous functionality.
I guess I will use both Flash and HTML5 where needed but I'm enjoying Flash just as much...

Sorry to bring up an old topic but Flash is still superior to HTML5. And I personally never experienced any security risk using Flash. Here's why I love Flash and will continue to use it...

Some time ago, Northcode created a free version of SWF Studio v2.5. I thought I had this backed up but I guess not. Anyone still have a copy they can link to?
Thanks!

Here's what I would do. Grab a copy of KoolMoves or KoolShow from https://www.koolmoves.com/animation-software.html and recreate your site. KoolMoves exports both Flash and HTML5 and KoolShow exports...

Hello Bob! It's been a while but I had an idea. Sorry if anything I state has already been done. As I haven't used KoolMoves or Show in some time. Still on XP. :yikes:
Has the Bone Tool been...

That's hilarious! Thanks for that. ;)

That looks and works great on a resolution such as mine in fullscreen mode. ;)

Yes, creative websites have dropped big time since the conversion to HTML5. While Flash did use a bit more cpu, which I think could be controlled depending on what you were designing... I find HTML5...

No problem. Youtube videos are my preferred method. So that would be nice. ;)
