hmmm .. good topic -Id be interested in seeing what others do to cope with stress..

I'm an insomniac and when im stressed i just dont sleep at all , not even during the day. Music helps me a lot though its hard to really blast your stereo at 3 am and yell so i just listen to some wierd CDs i bought from a health shop (whales singing, waves crashing the usual new age stuff )

During the week i sometimes play Nirvana when i get out of bed at around 10am to go to work -- It gets me in that great mood and frame of mind and prepares me mentally for the day ahead (then again thats cos i hate my work rather than stress)

On the positive side lol, i find yoga and especially Hatha yoga which is bit more dynamic very good for me, it relaxes me and even helps me sleep.

In the summer , its less of a prob cos i'm more active, the weather is good and i rollerblade a lot or go swimming and a sauna and enjoy the sun much more in general

But i think keeping active is the key .... the worse ive ever done during some unreal deadlines earlier this year was to skateboard inside my flat at around 1am cos i was feeling too hyperactive
