    Its funny that i actually found that book by chance, i had to get a book to read during one of my classes while our normal teacher was out of town.
    I went to the science fiction of our school library and just grabbed a book at random.

    It turned out that it was a great book and i couldnt put it down. I wound up going out and buying pretty much every book i could find written by Douglas Adams.
    I was pretty much the same - bought the entire 5-book trilogy for my dad for Xmas (he was always talking about it) and just started reading it over the vacation. Hooked and the damn things is alomst my bible.

    Love this series. I have the very worn out copies on my book shelf right now. It is hard to find, I have yet to see another copy since i bought all mine at a used bookstore 10 years ago.

    On topic:
    I am half Chinese and half white, the old Chinese belief is that all foreigners are ghosts, devils and barbarians. So all the white people were call 'Ghost people' (direct translation) or 'Foreign Devil' (literal translation). When I go to Hong Kong to visit my family my cousins call me gui ning.
    gui = ghost
    ning = girl

    Yea, very good stuff!
    My favorite Douglas Adams book of all is "Long Dark Tea Time of The Soul".
    I had never heard of that one, but one of my friends moms saw me reading the hitch hikers guide and asked if i had read that one.
    I was very surprised to find that she was a Douglas Adams fan as well.

    I could make something up but the truth is, I use to play this online space game thingy, don’t even remember what it was called but my username was “PlanetDevastator”, but that was to long to type so as I joined other forums I would try just “Planet” to see if it was available and amazingly enough, it almost always was so I just went with it. Other then that, it has no significant meaning.

    I should have used my initials, MEH!

    When No. 3 son was at school he was big and ginger (still is) and at swimming someone called him a big ginger fish. We started a little home based company and used it as our name. He went off to University, I was made redundant so went self-employed. And it's still a little home based company.

    If you don't know this stuff you're not worth the green slime in your arm-pit.

    Way back when EQ came out my only other favorite thing was Babylon 5. One of the races in the show follows the book of G'kwan. I couldn't use apostrophes when creating a character to I went phonetic.

    When I started my account at FK I think I was in a hurry to post so I just went with it but tried to be silly with the reverse-caps thing.
