We have certain MPEGS which are to be converted into SWFs, along with the Audio. The tutorial for the same exists in the Tutorial section of the Flash Kit but does not incorporate the audio along with it.

However an alternative solution is provided by Wildform Flix but we are not sure how compatible it is.

If anyone knows how to do it, please get back to us immediately, we would be highly oblidged to that person.

    Contact urgently.

    Aziz.

    Hi Azizmk,

I suggest you convert your mpegs to AVIs and then use:
    http://www.geocities.com/vid2swf

to convert them into flash SWF.
    It's as simple as 123,

    Thankyou.

    Dear Friend,

Thanks a lot for the information provided by you.

We have downloaded the files, but we are facing a problem is that when we try to insert sound in the movie file it gives us an illegal operation and closes down the software.

We would be thankful to you if you provide us further information over this topic.

If the software is worth, we dont mind buying the software.

    Thanks again,

    Aziz.

    Hi again Aziz,

The inability to import the SWFs created by the trial version of Vid2swf is a "feature" of the trial version.

You can get the full version here:

This is what i have done :

Imported the mpeg into Adobe premier 6 , draged it into the stage , cut and pasted , saved the work as animated gif , imported it into Flash added sound in a new layer .

The adrenaline movie is one of the movies with sound , see footer

    Thanks again.

First of all the internal sound of the movie file does not work.

Secondly if I try to incorporate external sound it does not accept it.

So do get back to me at your earliest.

    Aziz,

    1. What video format are you trying to convert?
    2. What do you mean by "does not accept it"?

Could you please send me the files in question? This way I can try to debug the program and see what's wrong.

    Thanks,

    Xn
