Is it possible to make an instance trigger a button,or is that function limited to the cursor?

I mean anything that can move about on the stage, say a ball,or some animation...moves over the area defined as button and causes the button to react as if it had been rolled- over....say some random element had been introduced to the animation in a field of buttons...say a game ,like pinball...

    Cool

No but you could use collision detection to do that funciton. You can find a GREAT tutorial on that at this web site: http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flash/index.html

I think you'll like what you see. Regards, Bill
