Has anyone else checked out this site?

    http://www.impactbuilders.com

This group is using Generator to build custom presentations for businesses. While they are developed from templates, there are many to choose from... and NICE! Different from Balthazar, in that they do not allow for customization other than text and jpg uploads, but still have what businesses are looking for in a site/presentation/CD. They're charging about 1/3 of what I charge my clients, and have a proven system.

Kinda stinks, actually... I have to keep this one a secret from my clients!

I do have to compliment them, though... very nice system... very nice designs. I'm just jealous I didn't think of it first!

Anyone like to check it out and comment?
Will this type of system have an impact on our business? Is it a business model we should attempt to adapt? Actually, I have re-used several of my presentations for other companies already, just modifying them a little to fit they're needs.

    Regards,

    Jabez

Thank you for your comments Jabez.

A small correction, though... the URL is actually http://www.impactbuilder.com, not plural.

Try it for free at http://www.impactbuilder.com.

Haha! No wonder I haven't gotten a response on this in seven months!
Nice thing you guys have going, there, Mike.
If you don't mind me asking, how well is this approach doing? I know you have several "alliances" with different companies, which I'm sure helps, but how successful is it in drawing customers away from "traditional" methods, like design firms and freelancers?

    resolved impactbuilder.com

Thanks for responding! Business is going well. One of the real suprising trends is that freelancers and traditional shops are our biggest customers now.

They see the tool as a way to capture the 'low-end' market and increase their margins on these small jobs.

This segment of our market has really exploded since we started offering our templates and our engine in an "unbranded" OEM format.
