.sit files, how to open?

i need help on doing this. what program should i use to open a file with an .sit extension?, and can mac computers do this only?

yes. a .sit file is compressed using stuffit, a mac compression tool. i know mac has software to open .zip files (it's called zipit) not sure if pc has something for .sit files.
