NEW - NEW - NEW
Discreet (3DS MAX) have given us the rights to distribute the fully licensed/dongled student version 3DS MAX 2.5. There is no difference whatsoever from the commercial version and it costs a lot less. You need to be enrolled on our 3DS MAX Distance Learning Course to qualify and you'll be happy to hear that you can get a grant for the course that only leaves you with £25 to pay.
email: max@cyba3.co.uk for the full info package or leave your message here for us to answer.

um, the most recent version is 4, why would anyone want to mess with 2.5? get real

Get Real?
Because students can't afford version 4!
The difference being, £3100 for the full version against £295 for the student version, and if you actually use Max and not mess with it you would know that version 2.5 is more than adequate for anyone going into animation as a beginner or even at intermediate level. Now if you can afford the full version then good for you - but if you are using mickey mouse versions bought at your local car boot sale or corner market I hope you get everything you deserve. Not everyone uses Warez versions!
And as a small point to note, version 4 has only just been released and still has a few bugs lurking about. Experience tells us that only fools rush in - meep - get real!
meep (not a very original name is it, been watching old Python movies have we?)
