    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to make the background of the flash movie transparent, is this possible?

    If you are trying to place it on a layer above the rest of your html page. Yes but it only will work in Microsoft IE. Layers are different in netscape. They use to have a tutorial on flashzone about a year ago on how to do it.Because of the limitations I never used it and forgot what was needed Regards, Bill

    there is a tutorial that deals with this on flashkit.

    As PdF said it only works in IE4+
