Does anyone have a tutorial for making these cool backdrops you see everywhere that are part photo, part graphic.
For example the backgrounds used in Lasikplus.com
They are difficult and I need some assistance if possible.

Um. . . No tutorials, but some cool sites to get inspiration from. First, probably the king of them all http://www.deaddreamer.com/ also endeffect.com Check out their links and affilates. Great stuff there. As for tutorials. There are none. It's all about expirmentation. Here are my suggestions. Get some good stock photo's and remeber, porn sites are your friend. Second, learn everything you can about lighting effects and the different layer blending modes in photoshop. You should know, alot of that stuff is like 100-400 seperate layers in PS.
