Flash 5 is currently in final beta and is with developers.
You'll need to be part of Macromedia's developer network to receive a copy at present.
Unfortuanatly anyone using a copy must sign a non-disclosure agreement which MM take a dim view of breaking as Flashkit recently found out.

Some official details are available at http://www.flashmagazine.com

    Hope this helps,

    Rich.

    Hush Hush

I managed to find a beta copy - don't ask how but before everyone starts moaning at me - i currently own flash 4 and will buy flash 5 as soon as it comes out - i beleive in supporting software companies like Macromedia but I am also very impatient hence the reason I went looking for it.

I haven't had much of a chance to look at it yet but it looks like there is a lot more scripting possibilities for interactivity and that sort of thing but one thing bugs me - I don't like the new interface - I know a lot of people like it - it is more like ultradez/dreamweaver - that sort of thing but I must admit I liked it the way it was before - I s'pose it may grow on me.
