"go to url" not working in tutorial or samples

Just downloaded Swish and ponied up the $30, having a few problems.

Followed Actions tutorial to the letter, finished timeline etc looked just as it should, but the 'go to url' event does not open up my browser (IE5). Tried the samples, same thing with them, no browser function. The 'test in browser' function works, just the link thing appears to be broken.

Also, had to get to the samples by the scenic route, as I get an error when I click on them in the "Samples" dropdown box. Error reading File is all it says.

Any suggestions - not too much tekkie jargon please, I'm a weekend web wannabe!
