I did a banner, Im using dreamweaver 3 so I simply choose my .swf file as an object and set an alternate image. Ok. all god so far.
But when I tried to place the link, oops!
It didnt worked, I tried several times. with no luck. How can you place a link in a flash banner? ok. it seems like a dumb question, I know, but how do you click anywhere in the entire movie? and make it go to another url?
or even worse, just open a new window?

The easiest way I can think of is to turn your banner into a button F8 (convert to symbol - button) then in properties select action and select Get URL then you can select to open the URL in the current window or in a new window.

Another way is just to make an invisible button and cover the whole movie with it. ( you make an invisible button by just putting the hit area in the button. Regards, Bill
