I've have spent a lot of time trying to load an .swf file into my flash movie and I just can't get it to work.
    Any help would be great.

Is there a way to overlapp 2 different swf files?

So it helps my file is called main.fla/swf and I'm trying to import aw.swf over the top of the first part of the main.fla file.

    Hi,

You can load a SWF file on top of your original swf file.

The files loaded in such a manner, can be on levels 1 to 999..probably more....

Only ONE movie can be loaded per level.

A loaded swf file will take the size, frame rate of the base movie...soif you do not want your base movie to get covered...be craeful during the designing.

Theoretically you can load any number of movies (I think)

    resolved

Flash can load up to 16 000 movies at one time so do not worry about the number of movies you have to load.

Use the load movie command to load your second movie.
if you want your movie to be positioned as you want it, you can design your second movie the same size as your first movie. Or...you can also load the second movie into a movie clip symbol.(load into target not level in this case.)
then you can just position the movie clip symbol whereever ou want.

    Cheers.
