Hmmm... seems we do think alike on 'some' things

Yes it is sweet, and when you concider it's like getting 3 15" monitors the price is much more bearable. In fact if and when they come out with a 17" version, I think I really might get one (AngelArs is paying for it so why should I care ).

cbonsall - You only need one video card for this bad boy, everything else is automatic. I don't play games on my computer, but if I had this *wipes drool* I would probably be tempted to buying some.

and check out this for gaming!!!

    ($22.7k)

you wouldn't need three graphics cards, i think it all comes off one output. My graphics card can handle two monitors...

    multiple monitors

$10K for 3 x 15 LCD monitors ($600/each at Fry's) seems a bit extreme. It's not completely seamless either, it be just like having 3 monitors really close together, and either using a multiple output video card, or a version of windows that supports multiple monitors (most new ones can support up to more than you'll likely have PCI/AGP slots for). You'd need more than 1 graphics card to deal with the resolution (768-1024 H x ~3075-3380 W)..specially if you wanted decent frame rates in quake.

you can get articulated monitor arms that will do the rest. Toss portrait display software in the mix and it might be more flexible than what they have.
