Hi, I need to do some heavy-duty sound things in my new website but doubts are making my work painful... So could anyone please suggest a site where I can learn everything about how to control sounds? I especially need things about draggable sliders, volume, pan control, getVolume, setVolume... I am looking for something starting from the basics of Flash 5 sound-related actionscript but not so basic as "how to import a sound in flash" and that kind of crap... Please do not suggest the usual few tutorials on this site because I went through those and I couldn't find the answers... I need to learn quick and in depth... Please suggest best resources and thanks in advance.

    Flash 5 Studio http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...826179-9058110

A chapter on Smart clips which goes through the process of creating a volume slider, and a whole big chapter on Sound (plus all kinds of other chapters on everything from design through actionscript to round yourself out)

    chapter 6

I second that. Chapter 6 of flash 5 studio covers sliders with corresponding dial manipulation and goes from entry level to advanced sound scripting. Plus I think once you finish this project it is going to be the perfect refrefrance for you for any future actionscriping you do.

I don't mean to be a dink, but it never hurts to be prepared ahead of time...
