Thread: Nokia Monitors...

    I might be getting a 21 inch Nokia monitor. does anyone know if they are good monitors, or if they have problems. Any info on them will be great. thanks

    I think they are pretty new, I've never seen or heard of them.

    Do some research on them, sometimes it's better to go with monitors many people have used and reccomend than a newcomer.

    lol, well, they make good cellphones so i trust them. I would HIGHLY recomend Sony monitors.

    well...I would get a commonly used monitor, but I am trading my work for a monitor that this guy has. I really want a 21 inch...anything is better than what I have now. 13 inch, 6 year old Packard Bell. It still runs like new though! I wanted some info on it though, because, like you said...before today, I have never heard of Nokia even making monitors. I looked them up though, and from what I see they look pretty good, however...you can't judge a book by it's cover...

    Nokia is one of the biggest monitor makers in Europe. They make excellent monitors but for the money you will be MUCH better off with a ViewSonic G810. I have two of them and they blow away the 21" Sony's that we used to have. If you shop around you can get the 21" ViewSonic for a lot less than the Nokia, and last year the ViewSonic 21" was rated the best 21" monitor out there. They also make great nightlights

    Did they really buy them out? wow that is great. Nokia has been making monitors for a long time.

    And I am not afraid of the dark. I have my teddy bear and blanky to take care of me

    well, I didn't say it was a small job...although, it wasn't too bad. It was really easy to make, except he kept changing his mind, and wanting something changed everytime. But, hey...that's ok, he is a great guy. This is what was made:

    really? I have seen better...

    those images are easy to make...just some torus's and spheres. I made them in Bryce 4, btw...the text was added in Photoshop.
