3D OBJECTS???

how do I go about making a 3D cube?... I want it to be somewhat transparent and able to spin.. would also be a nice bonus if I could pick which planes it spins on ... but havent yet figured out how to make a cube.. if it cant be explained feel free to send anything to AL_Jessup@hotmail.com thx=)

Choose the wingdings font, select the square, now exturde it!

All right, I'm a dork. I'll admit it. Here's my lame 3d cube technique:

1) Open Powerpoint
2) Draw a square
3) Make it 3d
4) Open Flash
5) Cut and paste the cube into Flash
6) New keyframe
7) Rotate cube in Powerpoint
8) Goto 5 (until satisfied)

this is a sample i made with truespace and traced (notoptimized!) in flash4 by importing bitmaps into the scene - all you need is trace or the nervs to draw and fill the cube by redrawing the bitmaps
