? on player movement tute

Hey, I've been going through the "Building Games in Flash5 Part1: Player Movement and Fire" tutorial by: David Doull

I have gone through it so many times, and I still cannot get my spaceship to move right or down. It moves left, and up fine. I have even directly pasted his code in and the ship still only moves left and up. Has anyone else had this problem, or can anyone give me a clue as to why this might happen?

MAybe if u change the variable of the movespeed you don't change all, or maybe u don't put all on the same action layer

thanks for the advice, I was messin with it some more and managed to get it to work. I still can't figure out why it works now and it didn't then, but oh well. It works! heh.

That exact thing happen to me The ship would not move in those directions and I was fiddilin around but it wouldnt work, then i came back later opened it up again and it worked fine....WEIRD!
