I don't know, can it be true.
Has anybody tried for more than a day.

My site was screwed up bad in 4.76, its
great in 6, scroll bars look cool, tables
    actually resemble tables.

    geeeeez, I'm at a loss!!!!

    actually,

our ad agency got a few new jobs by updating sites to comply with Netscape 6. It's a pretty good browser. Anything that takes a step towards standards-compliance is a good thing in my book!

Netscape 6 is overblown. It handles layers poorly, and it doesn't handle Flash perfectly as well. They took a good thing and made it worse.

I have to say on a very brief review my site, with
quite alot of F5 function, it looks great.

I did read they support CSS, although its not showing
up on my business site, only in IE.

But, hey, if they keep this up it might be perfect, by
    version 20. (exaggerating)

Makes me wonder why Netscape and IE can't join forces. Is IE the standard to design for or do people still try to please everyone?

I think Netscape 6 will be fine after a few minor bug tweeks. They took a brave step rewriting the thing from scratch in order to make it fully standards compliant. If anyone's having problems with their site then it's likely use of proprietory [to IE] tags - more likely than a bug in NS6 anyway!

What they *do* need to do though is release a nice lean version for the power-hungry. Drop all the bloatware and give us web junkies a slick and powerful browser without thousands of completely useless features!

    Regards,

    Steve
