Animation

I dunno if this is the right forum for this, but oh well, it's about art and anime. Simple story short, I don't know the first thing about animating.. like how you get the characters to move about happily in a Flash movie. Whenever I try to modify something to make it turns it's head or whatnot, it kinda messes up. Anyone know a link for SUPER newbies when the annoying helpfiles don't help?

one way to animate is to draw every position of the head moving from one way to another that's how i animate....not the best way, but it works

yeah, but the problem is I don't know how to stream the animation together.. are symbols the best way? or whatnot? <-- is confused as a fruit fly
